2003 NFL Week 5

Free Picks

Miami (Even) over N.Y. Giants. 2 Units.  The Dolphins have stepped up to being one of the elite teams in the league this season.  The Giants are not too far behind but the Dolphins will win a close game.

Arizona/Dallas Under 37.  2 Units.  Dallas is not the cellar dweller they have been over the past few seasons and should win this low scoring game between two teams that don’t great offenses and can play some defense.

Paid Picks

Seattle (+2) over Green Bay.  2 Units.  Seattle has shown they are a team to recon with this season and they will serve notice with an upset win this weekend.  The Packers have been good at home, but Holmgren knows all the tricks at Lambeu since he coached there so long.  The Packers are an aging dinosaur and this version will be extinct soon.

Oakland (-4) over Chicago. 3 Units.  The Raiders will get healthy against the team that has done such a good job of making their opponents feel good this season.  The Bears are the worst team in the NFL but at least they get to play in a new stadium.

Carolina (-6.5) over New Orleans.  3 Units.  The Panthers have started strong for the second year in the row but this season they have the talent to keep winning.  The Saints have let too many wide receivers go who once made Brooks into pro bowl material.  Brooks is overrated (and no I am not Rush Limbaugh saying this) and the Saints will fall flat on the road.

Minnesota (-4) over Atlanta.  3 Units.  The Vikings looked good with Gus Ferrote running the show last week.  But then all you need to look good with Randy Moss is a QB who can throw the deep ball.  Atlanta is struggling with injuries and playing in a dome is not a big deal for Minnesota since they have one too.

Kansas City/Denver OVER 45.5.  3 Units.  Offense will be the theme here but then it has been the theme of ever Chief game this season.
