NCAA Week 5

Thursday

Auburn -2.5 over Mississippi St. 2 Units. Auburn is just the more talented team.

Saturday

USC (+3) over Kansas St.  2 Units.  Southern Cal has played remarkable defense against real teams, unlike the creampuffs played by Kansas State.  The experience against top level talent will be the difference in the game.  The long home non-conf winning streak will end.

Duke (+45) at Florida St.  2 Units.  We think that Duke will put up some points against Florida State as they will rest their starters for most of the second half because they have Thursday Night game in 5 days at Louisville.

Friday

Marshall (-9.5) over Central Florida. 2 Units. We like Marshall enjoying some home cooking and getting back on track towards a MAC Title. 

Saturday

U Conn (-3.5) over Ohio U. 2 Units. Ohio U is just terrible and U Conn at least is showing they may belong somewhere in the lower half of the Big East in the near future.

Utah/Michigan Under 44. 1 Unit. Utah will have problems scoring against an upset Michigan and Utah has a solid ground D. Under 40 total here.

NC State/Texas Tech over 57. 2 Units. Offensive war will put both teams in the thirties.

Louisville (-27) over Army. 3 Units. What Army, they should be called the wussies after getting creamed by Holy Cross and Rutgers. Louisville with enjoy another get healthy game after a tough loss.

Illinois (-23.5) over San Jose St. 2 Units. Another big favorite gets to have fun against a team that doesn't play defense.

Virginia (-23) over Akron. 2 Units. Seems like we have a theme going, but Virginia will enjoy and opportunity to play after playing three top programs to start the season. The great class of true frosh's will get to show their stuff late in the second half of this blow out.

Ohio State (-17) over Cincinnati.  3 Units.  If West Virginia can run all over the Bearcats, then the Buckeyes should be poison to them.

California (-9.5) over Air Force. 2 Units.  The Cal Bears are here and they will stop the one dimensional Air Force ground game.

Boston College (+26) at Miami-Fl. 2 Units.  BC is in the their largest dog role in 5 years and they are not that bad.  Boston College has a habit of playing up or down to the level of their opposition and they will keep this rivalry tight.

Hawaii (-19) at UTEP.  2 Units.  The Rainbows used to have some problems on the mainland, but they have had a week off and are lining up against one of the worst teams in the nation.

Iowa (-21.5) over Utah State. 2 Units.  The Hawkeyes will enjoy this home match up against this lesser team after their disappointment of a week ago.   Look for the Hawkeyes to continue reviving their tradition of beating up weak teams.

Bowling Green (-10.5) over Kansas.  3 Units.  This Bowling Green team has not been intimidated by playing against Big Conference Schools beating Missouri (x2), Northwestern and Temple in the past 12+ months, so we expect them to have to problem against this atrocious Kansas team.
