NFL Week 14 Sunday Paid Buffalo/New England over 44.5. 2 Units. New England took Buffalo to school early in the season and Bledsoe will want to put more then a TD up in a return to New England. Buffalo has their offense working again and this game will see totals in the 50s. Cleveland (+2.5) at Jacksonville. 2 Units. This game will mean the elimination of one of these teams from playoff contention. Cleveland has found more way to lose games this year then Jacksonville has won. Cleveland will put it together for a stretch run. Kansas City (-5) over St. Louis. 3 Units. The party is now over for the Rams and the worst of three evils, Jamie Martin, is at QB this week. Maybe he can play with out getting, but that is doubtful without huge Orlando Pace to protect him. Warner got sacked 8 times last week with Pace hurting. San Francisco (-4.5) at Dallas. 2 Units. SF has not covered their last 4 games, but it is time to wake up for the stretch run. Dallas has had a revival the last two weeks playing Emmitt Smith more, but San Fran is a much better squad. Philadelphia (-3) at Seattle. 2 Units. Seattle has moved the ball for some monster yardage the last two weeks, but they have not faced a defense equal to Philly. The Eagles have only allowed 90 in 8 NFC games and the team plays hard when not expected to do well. The letdown will occur in one of the three divisional games to finish the season and not this week. San Diego (+3) over Oakland. 2 Units. Oakland is a hot team but San Diego just seems to be putting things together with LT carrying the workload. Gannon may have some trouble putting up his 10th 300 yard game against the Charger defense. Minnesota/Green Bay over 43.5. 2 Units. This is a revenge game for the Packers, but we don't think they will cover the big spread. Both teams score at least 3 TDs (of course there will be field goals too) in a slugfest on the really frozen tundra of Lambeau Field. Free Cincinnati (+3.5) at Carolina. 2 Units. This is a battle of two bad teams, but Cincinnati has been showing life the last 4 weeks and we see that continuing while Carolina's win was a fluke and will not happen again with Peppers serving his suspension. Detroit (+1) at Arizona. 2 Units. Arizona keeps getting worse every week and things are looking dim for a franchise that may need to start all over again for about the 5th time in 10 years. Detroit has played hard and should be looking forward to playing a team at their level and getting a solid win. MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL --- FREE ---- Chicago/Miami over 37. 2 Units. Miami should have a big offensive night with their stars back playing. Miami defense will allow a couple of TDs to a Chicago offense that has started to score consistently. |
