NFL Week 5 Sunday Free New Orleans (-3) over Pittsburgh. 2 Units. Well, the Steelers have made a change at QB that was long overdue, but that will not help against an mad New Orleans team that lost the worst team in football last week. Oakland/Buffalo over 53. 1 Unit. Both teams have totally focused themselves on offense thinking they can out score everyone. This strategy has worked well for Oakland and is looked on as an improvement for Buffalo who has been competative in every game going 2-2 SU and 3-1 ATS. Combined these teams are 7-0 Over. No reason for a change this week. Philadelphia (-3) over Jacksonville. 2 Units. The Eagles are on a roll and Jacksonville is over dependent on Fred Taylor. He may get 100 -125 total yards, but not the 200+ for them to win. Paid Tampa Bay (-1.5) at Atlanta. 2 Units. Both these team just beat the crap out of Cincinnati as their last opponents, but Atlanta is still a season away with Vick at the helm. Tampa has been kicking their opposition around the field as this team is gelling around Coach Gruden. Carolina (-3.5) over Arizona. 3 Units. Arizona got lucky last week against a Giants team that can't get their offense working. Carolina has played solid football for 4 straight weeks and should not have trouble against Arizona with the strong Panther defense forcing Plumber to throw under pressure. Indianapolis (-13.5) over Cincinnati. 2 Units. You have to keep going against Cincinnati until they prove otherwise that they are capable on either side of the ball. The Colts should be more organized after bye week to get the team clicking under Tony Dungy. Kansas City/N Y Jets over 45. 2 Units. Neither team plays much defense, and the Jets can't get any worse on offense. Kansas City might be able to score 45 on their own. San Diego (+5) at Denver. 1 Unit. San Diego should be quite confident after their performance last week. So far, every Monday Night loser has also stunk the following week, Denver will still have a hangover. Baltimore (+7) over Cleveland. 2 Units. Baltimore looked solid coming off the bye week and Cleveland has been playing well but not dominating. This will be a close game. Monday Night October 7th Free Green Bay (+1) over Chicago for 1 Unit. These teams are very equal right now, but the Packers are ahead in the win column and have just been pulling games out when they have been close. The Bears have been allowing more yards then they are gaining and that is a risky stat against the strong offense of the Packers. Paid Green Bay/Chicago Over 44 for 3 Units. Both teams have defensive injuries and have been allowing yards and points left and right. The Monday Night lights should be encouraging to offenses. |
