Thursday

Colorado St. / Louisville Over 56.5. 2 Stars.  This not a battle of good defensive teams, actually not even a battle of good teams.  Louisville is decent but that is all.  With a new QB at the helm, Colorado State may have solved some of their offensive woes, but their defense will not be able to slow down Louisville's Dave Ragone and the offensive machine that he pilots.  Both teams will score often putting the total points over 60.

Four Fabulous Five star Favorites Saturday

Instructions:  Bet 5 Units on each game.  Bet 4 - 1 Unit 3 Team Parlays made up of 3 of the 4 teams, so you will have every 3 team combination covered.  Bet 1 - 1 Unit 4 Team Parlay.

Virginia Tech (-15) over West Virginia.  5 Stars.   Virginia Tech's offense had a bad week against Central Florida but they still covered easily.  This teams can make plays with its offense, defense, and special teams.  West Virginia has a sloppy passing game which will not have sucess against this great Tech defense.  The favorite is 7 -1 -1 ATS in the series and Va Tech has covered their last 7 overall.

Toledo (-13) over Ohio U.  5 Stars.  Toledo is unstoppable this season in their quest to go bowling after last year's 10-1 record.  Toledo is 13-2-1 ATS in their last 16 games and they are 16-6-1 ATS as a road favorite.  Ohio has not hit stride this season under their new coach and is 0-3 SU and ATS.  Toledo's offense will at least meet their average of 460+ yards per game against an Ohio defense that does the same.

Louisiana Tech (-7) over San Jose State.  5 Stars.  Louisiana Tech is 1-2 SU but they are coming home to play their easiest opponent so far this season.  San Jose State has been blown out of their last two games and are playing their fourth straight on the road.  Tech is averaging over 28 points a game whereas San Jose has not broken the 15 point barrier.  Louisiana Tech has gone 7-1-1 ATS over their last 9 games.

Boise State (-4.5) over Rice. 5 Stars.  Don't let Rice's 3 - 1 SU record deceive you, they have no offense and they have beaten teams without strong offenses.  Boise State's offense has not fallen off since adding a new starting QB this season and a new Head Coach.   Boise has covered 8 of their last 10 on the road and is 4 -1 ATS in their last 5 games against option oriented teams.

Saturday's Free Games

Tennessee (-11) over Georgia.  2 Stars.  Georgia played their first 3 games and has not covered the spread yet.  Tennessee's defense is tough and will hold down the score again this week.  Tennessee is 10 - 1 -1 in the second of consecutive home games.  Georgia is 1 - 6 ATS after scoring more then 20.  Look for something around 21 - 3 Tennessee.

Washington St. (-10.5) over Oregon St. 3 Stars.  This is a battle of two teams going in opposite directions.  Washington State, 4-0 SU and ATS, is bowling over their competition after several weak seasons and Oregon St., 1-2 SU and 0-3 ATS, is falling all over themselves after a meteoric rise to National prominence.  Oregon State has the weakest defense in the Pac Ten and this will be their downfall again this week.  In addition, Oregon State has not found reliable receivers to replace those lost to graduation and their offense has sputtered.

Iowa State (+23.5) over Nebraska.  4 Stars.  Iowa State has built upon last years success by bringing in a strong QB to lead the team Seneca Wallace.  Iowa State will be the best team that Nebraska has faced so far this season, but Nebraska may not be up for this game.  Iowa State has not been this big of a dog since playing at Nebraska 2 years ago.  Iowa State is 7-1-1 ATS against teams off back to back SU and ATS wins.  Iowa State's strong balanced offense will challenge Nebraska to step up and will keep the game within two touchdowns.

Oregon (-5) over Arizona U.  3 Stars.  Oregon has come out of the blocks rather slow en route to a 4-0 SU, 1-3 ATS record.  Arizona is 3-1 SU, 2-2 ATS, but the combined record of the three teams they beat before being destroyed by Washington State last week was 1 - 11 SU.  Oregon will have no problem covering this meager spread.
