Moss Report Betting Philosophy and History Why do people wager on sports? Excitement or Investment. We look at it as an investment. If you we just a casual bettor who just looked at the line and picked a team, that is betting for mere excitement. We investigate and back our own money behind every pick. If we win, you win, but if you lose, we lose too. Now we know our site is not fancy, but we are about winning football and not fancy web design, so if you want gimmicks and pretty web pages, go somewhere else. For the majority of the past two seasons, we primarily covered on College Football. But beginning with the 2002 NFL Playoffs, we expanded our coverage to include the NFL where we went 4-4, for +1.9 Units. This season we have expanded our coverage to include the NFL every week along with all the college games we have traditionally covered. Between the NFL and NCAA, we will have 10 to 20 plays per week. In addition, we are having a change this season. We are cutting back on our star system and will only be having 2 unit plays and a couple of 3 or 1 units plays each week. Our base unit will be 2 units. We suggest 2 units to be equal to 1% of your bank roll. |
